Our second beautiful son was born August 31, 2010 at 3:11 pm. We didn't know what we were having, so it was such a fun suprise to see that we had a little brother for Liam. Liam is pretty excited too! Of course, he has his moments where he wishes he had us all to himself again but overall he has been a great big brother so far.
Oliver was 7lbs, 9 oz at birth and was 19 inches long. He has a headful of brown hair that actually is curly when wet (where in the world did that come from?). He is a calm little fellow who only cries when tired, hungry, or dirty. Other than that he sleeps a whole lot, of course...which is the great part about having a newborn! I can't wait to watch him grow and develop his personality, but for now I really love holding my warm little bundle.
Here is an album of pictures to look at of the last two weeks as a family of 4! We have had such a great time celebrating with family and friends, who have all been such a tremendous help to us as we try to adjust and get back on our feet again. Nathan's mom, Jane, and step-dad, Korby, were here for over a week helping out. They did tons of laundry and dishes, and kept Liam entertained. My parents have been great- always good for a home-cooked meal and help around the house and with the kids, not to mention great company! We are so lucky to have so many friends and family members close by and we wish that those of you who aren't close by were here. Love you all and enjoy the pictures!
